Moving checklist

Moving Forward Removals & storage suggest you follow our checklist and tick off accordingly.

Discontinue at your old address:
o    Telephone and Internet.
o    Gas and Water.
o    Electricity and Cable connection.
o    Newspapers and subscriptions.
      Arrange for connection to your new house:
o    Telephone and Internet.
o    Gas and Water.
o    Electricity and Cable connection.

Notify your change of address to:
o    The Electoral Commission.
o    Your bank to transfer your account.
o    The post office to redirect your mail.
o    Your consultants/advisors including solicitor,                                       accountant and stockbroker.
o    Your insurance company.
o    Your health insurance fund.
o    Roads and Traffic Authority for car registration, licences etc.

Make sure you have you collected or returned:
o    Your children's school records.
o    Your family's dental and medical records.
o    Dry cleaning and items left for repair.
o    Anything borrowed from or loaned to a neighbour.
o    Library books.
Don't forget to also:
o    Defrost your refrigerator and prepare all appliances for removal.
o    Dispose of all items you have decided not to take.
o    Ask us about insurance for moving and check to make sure                  everything is covered.
o   Pack your emergency kit for when you arrive at your destination.
